Cheney expressed excitement about accepting the Republican vice-presidential nominee. He said that the future is bright for him working with a person who is able to work together with people of differing political opinions and who share common goals. Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30th, 1941) was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been wed with Richard Herbert Cheney for over thirty years. After 13 years of age, old, he emigrated with his family from Nebraska to Casper located in western state of Wyoming and his father was the director of the local district of soil conservation to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
