Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. She is known as a naive character who are charming and likable. Adams was the daughter of a U.S. Army officer in Italy and was raised in Castle Rock Colorado. At the end of the 1990s, she started professional dance and acting in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. When she moved to Minnesota, she starred in a mock-documentary film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) about beauty pageants. Her screen debut was a huge success with the role of an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet moved to Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh, discovered via actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a deal with MGM to launch her film career actress in the mid 1940s. Over the course of the 1960s, Leigh starred in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.
