Her work on horror films has earned her the title the horror queen. From 2012 to 2017, she was a part-time actress as Marnie Micheals in HBO's comedy drama show Girls. Her character was nominated in the Critics' Choice Award. Her breakthrough came with the role of Rose Armitage in the horror film Get Out (2017), which earned her nominations from The MTV Movie Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards among other awards.
